About ROAD

Made to last. Made to give back.

Rebirth of a Dream, ROAD for short, is a small independent clothing brand started in 2022. We make heavyweight clothes meant to be worn for years, and $5 from every sale goes to a nonprofit doing good work.

Built to last

The most sustainable shirt is the one you never have to replace. So we start with heavy fabric: 100% cotton tees with a garment dyed finish, and hoodies and zip ups in 14 oz heavy fleece. Fewer, better pieces, made to hold their shape wash after wash.

Small runs, on purpose

We make in small batches, and some pieces only once. That means less overstock, fewer markdowns and more care in each piece. When something sells out, it usually stays that way.

Made by hand where it matters

ROAD comes from a fiber art background, and it shows: hand printing and embroidery in our New York studio, handwoven patches, even a woven blanket. Garments are constructed by partners in Los Angeles, and we state Made in USA piece by piece, never for the whole brand.

Inspired by the outdoors

A lot of what we make comes from time spent outside: mountains, national parks, the turn of the seasons. That is part of why the National Park Foundation is one of the places our $5 goes.

$5, every sale

A fixed $5 from every sale, not a percentage of profit. It goes to the Last Prisoner Project, the National Park Foundation, Fort Collins Rescue Mission, The Road Home Dane County and the Tanzanian Children's Fund. More than $3,000 so far. See where it goes on Our Impact.

Where ROAD comes from

ROAD started in the Midwest, moved through Colorado and Ohio, and is now based in New York. The name is about second chances, for people, for communities and for the land. Our partners come from the places that shaped us.

Make it well. Wear it often. Give a little back.
